Recently I had the opportunity to review the low temp rose candles and leaf drip holder from Zestler. I was super excited when they reached out to me because I had been eyeing the product for a while since it had come across my tik tok feed a while ago.

 I have done some wax play before and enjoyed it both with some massage oil candles that are more on the sensual side and some cheaper local sex shop “wax play” candles. But this is my favorite experience with wax play so far! The roses drip easily and quickly! The holder makes it very easy to direct the wax where you want it and is just so pretty! It stands on its own really well even with the candle on it. The rose candles themselves are a little slippery and took me a second to make sure I had it on the holder securely but once I got it in the holder it was pretty well in there. the wax burned at a great temperature where it was just painful enough to make me giggle when it hit my skin but not to a level of pain where I was having to work through like I have had with cheaper wax play candles I’ve played with.

The only thing I can kinda see as a negative with these is that the candles are pretty small. I probably could have gone through 2 in one play session. Also as the candle got to the end of being able to burn the holder squished the side of the rose it was stabbed into, onto the wick and killed it, but there was very little wick to burn left anyway so wasn’t a huge loss.

Overall I’d say this was a super fun gadget, with really nice beginner candles! I will certainly be picking up a refill of the roses and keep using this both for photoshoots and personal playtime.
